Professionally
John is a writer living somewhere in the western suburbs of Chicago. He writes all sorts of creative things here and there and even a few less creative things as well. But that’s alright. He enjoys making those not-so-creative things as creative as possible. And so far, people seem pretty pleased. He’s new to the world of working for himself, but so far he likes it and, though he doesn’t want to be too optimistic, it seems to like him as well.

Personally
This is the fun part because he is the father to a busy, brilliant 9 year old boy who keeps his mind sharp (not an easy feat), his writing fresh, and his body in constant motion. But he wouldn’t have it any other way. When he’s not writing, he’s spending time with his family, baking something tasty, reading a good book, or taking a picture of something. He likes morning walks in the fall, a good breakfast, and an unrushed cup of coffee (though that’s pretty rare what with that non-stop 9 year old).
